Dennis Jones
President of Heritage Christian University Associate Professor of Communication Dennis Jones is a native of Florence, Alabama. He and his wife, Fredda, have three children: Rodney, Rita, and Jana. They are also the proud grandparents of five grandsons and three granddaughters. Dennis began his career as an ironworker apprentice with Tennessee Valley Authority. He attended night classes for five years and upon completion of his training was awarded a journeyman degree. In 1972 he enrolled in Heritage Christian University earning a B.A. in 1977. John Gipson
John Gipson has been preaching since his senior year at Abilene Christian College in 1953. He served several churches in Texas, before becoming the pulpit minister at the Sixth and Izard church (now WindSong) in downtown Little Rock in 1968. John retired from the regular pulpit responsibility in 2000. He was appointed an elder in 1977, and continues to serve in that capacity.
